ROBERT PITT
General Contractor & Owner
I got started in construction immediately post high school graduation, taking an opportunity to work with a local builder over the summer. After working with the builders I realized the passion and creative outlet that construction gave me. A building is not only a structure being put together, but in many ways it is art. I was intrigued with the ability to take an idea and create a livable, functional space out of it.
I started at the bottom being a laborer/carpenter; over 8 years I worked my way up to becoming a contractor. After receiving my license in 2008, I worked for an electrical company as a subcontractor for another 8 years.
Working as a contractor in Pacifica - it is important to understand the way the living on the coast affects the longevity of buildings. For example: having a good structural shear wall with extreme waterproofing and cement board siding and quality paint on a proper concrete wall will hold against the elements. Being somebody who grew up here; I am confident in my ability to recommend the best possible solution for your specific home, keeping in mind the environmental factors.
As a general contractor I view my work as problem solving - when your house has a problem, I will troubleshoot and fix it. I am confident there is no problem or project that I can not solve. There is always a way to fix every kind of problem or make any idea come to life.
